The mission behind everything we do at SOUR is to give $$$, raise awareness, and empower the strong, Indigenous women in rural China who craft our breathtaking textiles. They are the backbone of their local economies and the reason SOUR exists.

VI Why so cheap? Gongzhus are girls’ girls, we only use fair labor practices. 
VII  Wechat is not for gossip, only for the SOUR gosspel. 
Art is a dying trade, and we are nothing without the artisanship of those who came before us. The SOUR gospel is that fashion has been bad, but can and should be life-giving, inclusive, and restorative for us all.
